Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who can efficiently and accurately handle machine operations and part assembly. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with punch, farming, and CNC machine operations, along with the ability to maintain quality while meeting quotas.
Responsibilities
+ Read tape measures using 1/16" and 1/32" increments.
+ Operate punch, farming, and CNC machines.
+ Move quickly to meet quotas while maintaining quality standards.
+ Assemble parts and load/offload paint line parts.
+ Utilize small power tools, drills, electric screwdrivers, staple guns, and other small tools for assembly tasks.
+ Assist with cleaning, mopping, and organizing the workspace.
+ Move small parts on wheeled carts.
+ Perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ Previous experience with machine operation.
+ At least 1 year of machine operator experience.
+ At least 1 year of machine setup experience.
+ Proficient in reading a tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED, or 3 months of related experience and/or training.
+ Experience in general labor, machine operating, and general production.
+ Proficiency in inspection and quality inspection.
+ Familiarity with punch press, blueprint reading, sheet metal work, production processes, and hand and power tools.

Work Environment
Work on the first shift from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime based on the season. Overtime will not extend beyond 11:00 am on weekends. The work environment is dynamic, with variations based on weather conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Altamont, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.31 - $18.50/hr.
