    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently operate and monitor packaging line equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and monitor packaging line equipment.

    + Perform inspection, hand cartoning or packing, labeling, palletizing, cleanup, and hopper filling.

    + Assist in line clearances between batches and changeovers; follow cleanup sheet directions.

    + Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues.

    + Maintain accurate and error-free records, including Line Packaging Records (LPR).

    + Follow production documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

    + Monitor operations for deviations, quality risks, or mechanical problems and escalate issues as needed.

    + Identify and suggest improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.

    + Maintain a clean work area and adhere to department safety rules.

    + Attend scheduled trainings and complete annual training requirements.

    + Perform duties in other work areas as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent.

    + Experience in Manufacturing Operations or Packaging, preferably in a GMP facility.

    + Mechanical aptitude with ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.

    + Basic reading comprehension and math skills for technical instructions and LPR calculations.

    + Strong communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

    + High attention to detail and ability to manage diverse tasks.

    + Ability to lift materials up to 35 lbs. as needed.

    + Must wear personal protective equipment, including white zone gowning and various respirators.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in pharmaceutical production is preferred.

    + Computer skills are preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment involves working in a GMP facility, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The position requires wearing personal protective equipment, including white zone gowning and various respirators. The shift schedule is Monday to Wednesday, with morning hours. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 35 lbs.

    This is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
