Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This position is for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through regular maintenance, repairs, and improvements. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work with various maintenance systems.
Responsibilities
+ Perform routine inspections and maintenance on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as prescribed.
+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair failures of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on various machinery including Punch Presses, Thermoformers, and packaging equipment with relative independence.
+ Complete all maintenance and repairs accurately, safely, and in a timely manner while following company policies and procedures.
+ Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
+ Fabricate parts as necessary to maintain equipment and systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers and other automated systems.
+ Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
+ Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or fabrications.
+ Use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical systems.
+ Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
+ Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
+ Knowledgeable with machine control circuitry, PLCs, servo drives, and motors.
+ Possession of proper tools and test equipment.
+ Willingness to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.
+ Experience with industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance, hydraulics, repair, schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and PLC control.
+ Ability to conduct welding and handle 3-phase electrical maintenance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
