Job Title: Repackaging/Mixing Paint Lead
Job Description
Join our team as a Repackaging/Mixing Paint Lead, where you will oversee the daily operations of paint mixing and repackaging. Working on the first shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, you will guide and support team members while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Pull and inspect raw materials received from the warehouse against work orders.
+ Guide team members, delegate tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support daily execution.
+ Prepare and package finished goods as per work order instructions, including accurate measurement of component weights.
+ Pour, blend, mix, test, and package custom paint according to specifications.
+ Review work order instructions and associated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure adherence to specified ratios, parameters, and material handling protocols.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
+ Minimum of one year experience working in warehouse operations.
+ Experience mixing, blending, and testing custom paint or ink is required.
+ Ability to identify small differences in color and spot inconsistencies.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to understand chemical safety sheets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in paint mixing from any paint store, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.
+ Understanding of color knowledge, color theory, and custom aerospace paints.
Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing/warehouse setting, where you will be involved in the physical tasks of mixing and repackaging paint. The environment requires adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE. The dress code is casual, appropriate for warehouse work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
