    Job Title: Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Production Worker at a leading production facility, where you will play a crucial role in the creation of new gourmet products such as bay leaves, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla, and saffron. You will be responsible for general production duties, hand packing on the production line, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to strict food safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform hand packing on the production line for gourmet products.

    + Carry out general production duties and housekeeping tasks.

    + Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    + Follow Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures and utilize plant touch screens proficiently.

    + Ensure adherence to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HAACP) principles.

    + Maintain food safety standards at all times.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and food manufacturing.

    + Knowledge of GMPs and SOPs.

    + Proficiency in machine operation and packaging.

    + Ability to perform inspections and follow cleaning and sanitizing protocols.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Entry-level position with ideally 1 year of GMP experience.

    + Familiarity with janitorial duties and industrial cleaning.

    + Understanding of FDA regulations and food processing.

    Work Environment

     

    Work at a state-of-the-art facility that follows strict GMPs as a food and beverage manufacturer. Adherence to dress code policies is crucial, including no jewelry, lip rings, tongue rings, or fake nails. Shift hours are from 8am-4:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belcamp, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
