    Description

    Job Description: The Warehouse Maintenance/ Custodian is responsible for keeping the premises, offices, and warehouse areas inside and outside clean and orderly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintains and cleans all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

    • Maintains and cleans common areas, bathrooms, the kitchen, and office areas.

    • Maintains and cleans the parking area, entrance, and building windows.

    • Collects and disposes of debris and trash from the warehouse, including cleaning inside and outside the warehouse area.

    • Empty trash cans for proper disposal.

    • Clean windows using appropriate detergents and equipment.

    • Follows procedures to properly handle chemical cleaners to prevent damage to floors and other objects.

    • Use the company’s cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, brooms, mops, and detergents.

    • Follows work schedule for cleaning areas as established by immediate supervisor.

    • Monitors and notifies management of deficiencies or necessary repairs.

    • Responsible for maintaining cleaning equipment, tools, and materials necessary to perform daily tasks. They will notify the immediate supervisor to make essential purchases if any material is needed.

    • Performs other tasks and special projects related to the Position as requested.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to perform general cleaning tasks using cleaning equipment and tools.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.

    • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and job requirements.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
