    Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator

    Job Description

    Operate pre-set press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, roll formers, and more to produce parts that meet customer quality and delivery requirements. Perform quality inspections, make tooling changes as needed, and use mics, calipers, and tape measures while working off of prints.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate various machines such as press brakes, turrets, and punch presses.

    + Conduct quality inspections of parts produced.

    + Perform tooling changes when necessary.

    + Utilize measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.

    + Work from blueprints to ensure accurate production.

    + Potential to be promoted to Machine Op Fab 2, involving more setups and program editing.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of experience with Brake Press, turret, punch press, or CNC operation.

    + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.

    + Experience in machine operation and fabrication techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2 years of experience using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and running machines.

    + Experience with laser and CNC fabrication is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large facility with 400 employees over 3 shifts. The 2nd shift operates from 2pm to Midnight, Monday through Thursday, with shifts on Friday from Noon to 9pm, and every other Saturday from Noon to 9pm.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Atkinson, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35000.00 - $45000.00/yr.

    Growth opps to move up quickly into a Machine Op 2 that comes with a $1.50 raise
