    Job Title: Compounder

    Job Description

    This role ensures the accurate production and documentation of liquid compounds following strict industry standards and safety regulations. The Manufacturing Compounder is responsible for precisely weighing and mixing raw materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and ensuring the quality of the final product.

    Responsibilities

    + Precisely weigh and mix raw materials according to formula specifications.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance.

    + Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to meet product specifications.

    + Perform equipment setup and calibration for accurate production runs.

    + Conduct quality control tests to ensure product integrity.

    + Record production data for batch records and compliance reporting.

    + Assist in inventory management of raw materials and final products.

    + Perform standard cleaning procedures based on work instructions.

    + Assist in the training and support of new compounders.

    Essential Skills

    + High proficiency in attention to detail.

    + High proficiency in time management.

    + High proficiency in safety standards knowledge.

    + High proficiency in quality control procedures.

    + Medium proficiency in teamwork and collaboration.

    + Medium proficiency in understanding of manufacturing processes.

    + Medium proficiency in relevant knowledge of measurements.

    + Medium proficiency in inventory management.

    + Medium proficiency in problem-solving.

    + Medium proficiency in ability to multi-task.

    + High proficiency in ability to follow safety procedures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred) or Chemical Technology or related field (Preferred).

    + 1-3 years of experience in compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing (Preferred).

    + 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment (Preferred).

    + Experience as a General Production worker or a Batch Mixer.

    Work Environment

     

    Indoor manufacturing facility running three shifts: 1st Shift (7a-3p), 2nd Shift (3p-11p), and 3rd Shift (11p-7a). All shifts will train on 1st shift for the first month.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, VA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
