Job Title: Refrigeration Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a motivated Industrial Services Technician, responsible for maintaining the refrigeration department in a food manufacturing facility. Your main role will involve ensuring the refrigerators are operational throughout the plant, with duties extending to the distribution center across the street. This position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule, from 6pm to 6am, offering every other weekend as a three-day weekend, totaling 15 days off a month.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain proper functioning of refrigeration systems, steam generation, compressed air, hot water, treated water, glycol, and other systems.

+ Respond to emergency calls regarding refrigeration on the production floor.

+ Ensure continued production operation related to refrigeration equipment, utilities, and HVAC equipment.

+ Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment.

+ Troubleshoot, adjust, and/or repair utility systems equipment as issues arise.

+ Perform pipefitting and plumbing repairs.

+ Repair/rebuild pumps, valves, regulators, traps, fans, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Legible handwriting with attention to detail.

+ Regular work attendance.

+ Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills.

+ Ability to work in a team environment.

+ Neat and accurate documentation skills.

+ Ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods.

+ Certifications in CERO, CARO, LLAR, steam, boiler, chiller experience, and EPA License are a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Sterling, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59280.00 - $59280.00/yr.
