Job Title: Forklift Operator/Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload vehicles, moving stock, and ensuring all products are properly coded and stored. You will also assist with pulling orders, warehouse stock placement, and conducting inventory and cycle counts.
Responsibilities
+ Operate a forklift to load and unload vehicles and move stock efficiently.
+ Ensure all products are properly coded and stored in the warehouse.
+ Pull orders and assist with the placement of warehouse stock.
+ Perform inventory and cycle counts regularly.
+ Complete shipping and receiving paperwork and logs accurately.
+ Conduct monthly inventory checks independently.
+ Assist with ingredient pulling and setup of the blending platform.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in operating stand-up forklifts and warehouse equipment.
+ Ability to multitask and work independently.
+ Experience with RF scanners and inventory management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.
+ Ability to perform order picking, packing, and general labor tasks.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic food environment, with initial training on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, transitioning to the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6 AM. Embrace a supportive team culture with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.85 - $19.00/hr.
