Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Description

This position entails producing plastic sheet products using various extrusion machines according to customer specifications. Responsibilities include startup, shutdown, troubleshooting, quality control inspections, proper packaging, and material handling. The role also involves training others in these processes. Once machines are operational, they may run continuously for up to two weeks until cleaning or color change is required.

Responsibilities

+ Monitor extrusion machines and take measurements every two hours.

+ Operate a forklift to remove full pallets from the end of the production line approximately every 45 minutes.

+ Consistently inspect machines by walking up and down the line to ensure optimal operation in terms of appearance, sound, and smell.

Essential Skills

+ 1 - 2 years of machine operating experience.

+ Ability to lift 40 - 50lbs regularly.

+ Willingness to learn forklift operation if not already experienced.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with extrusion processes is ideal.

+ Any experience in plastic production is beneficial.

Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $56160.00/yr.
