Job Title: Assistant Technician

Job Description

This position is responsible for the repair, modification, and change of parts on electronic units.

Responsibilities

+ Analyze failed phones according to established methods and procedures.

+ Resolve technical issues within the time schedule and provide break and fix solutions using OEM standards.

+ Disassemble and reassemble cell phones into a good cosmetic housing.

+ Remove LCD from back-housing and replace with a new one.

+ Remove motherboard and battery.

+ Replace screws and ensure components are secure.

+ Be flexible to perform other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.

+ Basic troubleshooting skills.

+ Rework experience with cell phones.

+ Basic computer skills for documenting repairs.

+ Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

+ Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with assembly and disassembly.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Attention to detail and production skills.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with a structured schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, including breaks. The role offers a chance to work in a dynamic atmosphere with supportive colleagues. Please note that interviews will take place in Coatesville.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coatesville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
