    Job Title: Equipment Mechanic

    Job Responsibilities

    + Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

    + Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

    + Repair or replace defective parts and components in machinery.

    + Conduct novice level welding repairs using MIG & SMAW techniques.

    + Perform major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains.

    + Inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications.

    + Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed on equipment.

    + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.

    + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.

    + 2+ years experience with performing diagnostics and repairs.

    + 2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems.

    + 1+ year experience troubleshooting diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.

    + 3+ years experience with electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains.

    Shifts and Pay

    + M-F

    + 7 am - 4 pm

    + $23-35/hour

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
