Job Title: Aircraft Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at the Fort Lauderdale Airport as an Aircraft Technician. We are seeking skilled A&P Mechanics to be part of our repair station, focusing on heavy maintenance and Gulfstream aircraft.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft, specifically models G6, G400, and G500.

+ Perform heavy maintenance tasks and repairs on various aircraft including Challenger, Jet, and Engine.

+ Utilize personal tools for aircraft repair and maintenance.

+ Engage in hangar maintenance and manage powerplant and airframe repairs.

+ Comply with safety regulations and adhere to quality standards during maintenance procedures.

Essential Skills

+ A&P License

+ 3+ years of experience in heavy maintenance

+ Experience with Gulfstream repair stations, particularly on models G6, G400, and G500

+ Ability to work overtime

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with corporate jets such as Falcon, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, and Challenger

+ Familiarity with Gulfstream repair station models G400 and G500

+ Proficiency in hangar maintenance and line maintenance

Work Environment

Work in a hangar setting with shifts available from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday. Long-term opportunities for 2-3 shifts. Be part of a team committed to excellence in aviation maintenance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $57.00/hr.
