    Job Title: Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled machinists to join our team in a dynamic job shop environment. This role involves operating, maintaining, and editing CNC machines, including Vertical Mills, Manual Lathes, Brake Presses, and Lasers. The position offers competitive hourly rates and is for the 1st (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) and 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM) in Alliance, OH.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain CNC machines, including Vertical Mills, Manual Lathes, Brake Presses, and Lasers.

    + Make machine edits and tool changes.

    + Read blueprints and use calipers and micrometers to ensure parts remain within tolerance.

    + Work in a production shop environment with shorter run times.

    + Utilize G&M Code for machining on steel, stainless steel, and brass materials.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of machining experience with Vertical Mills, Brake Presses, or CNC Lasers.

    + Experience in set-up and tear-down processes.

    + Capability to edit programs and make tool changes.

    + Good job tenure with at least 4 years at previous companies.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading.

    + Basic machine set-up experience.

    + Tool changing and machine edits experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with G&M Code and Fanuc Controls is preferred.

    + Program editing skills are advantageous.

    + Robotics experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility, built in 2021, is exceptionally clean, safe, and climate-controlled. Expect to work overtime, typically 45-50 hours, with occasional 10-12 hour shifts as needed, primarily on the production side. We utilize state-of-the-art machinery and manufacture over 10,000 parts across various industries, including data centers, vessels, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alliance, OH.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
