    Job Title: Production Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to operate and manage packaging machinery. The role involves setting up and operating various types of equipment, including auto packagers, cutters, and fillers. You will be responsible for ensuring machinery runs smoothly and efficiently, which includes tasks like adjusting hoses, blades, and adding new film to machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate machinery for packaging.

    + Adjust machinery components such as hoses and blades.

    + Add new film and roles to machinery.

    + Input orders and runs into computer systems.

    + Manage and resolve machinery jams.

    + Check products for defects.

    + Operate machinery that fills, cuts, seals, and packages products.

    + Connect hoses to tankers and fillers.

    + Climb ladders and work comfortably at heights.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of GMP experience.

    + 1 year of packaging experience.

    + 1 year of manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to lift 40 lbs. individually.

    + Comfortable climbing ladders and working on mezzanine levels.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

    + Experience in blending and batch mixing is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a very clean and temperature-controlled facility, which includes packaging machinery, kettles, and tanks for mixing. The environment is designed to be pleasant and safe, with a requirement to wear hairnets, beard nets, and non-slip boots, adhering to GMP standards.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.05/hr.
