Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator who is adept at operating the Amanda Press Brake. The role involves fabricating sheet metal by following correct sequencing, identifying correct gauges and stock from blueprints, and ensuring quality control of finished products.
Responsibilities
+ Operate the Amanda Press Brake efficiently.
+ Follow correct sequencing for fabricating sheet metal.
+ Identify correct gauges and stock from blueprints.
+ Read angles and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
+ Perform changeovers of tools and dies as necessary.
+ Operate the controller to adjust settings based on stock requirements.
+ Identify different gauges of metal using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
+ Lift up to 75lbs safely.
+ Follow all safety protocols diligently.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with press brake operation and set up.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
+ Ability to perform machine operation tasks with precision.
+ Skilled in the use of calipers, micrometers, and hand tools.
+ Familiarity with safety precautions and production equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 1 year of experience as a press brake set up operator.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a clean facility with shifts available: 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm-12:00am.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Farmingdale, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
