Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler

Job Description

As a Cleanroom Assembler, you will be responsible for achieving daily product build and quantity goals. You will be provided with parts and tools at your station and will use computer-aided prints and drawings to guide your work. This role involves performing both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks at a bench station, including working with screws, bolts, framing, housings, wires, and connections. Quality inspection instruments will be utilized to ensure build tolerances are met.

Responsibilities

+ Achieve assigned product and build quantity goals daily.

+ Follow computer-aided prints and drawings for assembly.

+ Perform mechanical assembly with components like screws, bolts, framing, and housings.

+ Conduct electrical assembly involving wires and connections.

+ Utilize quality inspection instruments to check build tolerances.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of technical assembly experience of full electromechanical builds.

+ 3-5 years of experience reading assembly drawings and prints.

+ 3-5 years of experience using hand and power tools, such as impact drivers, manual and electric screwdrivers, and T-Handle Allen wrenches.

+ 3-5 years of experience with metric and standard tape measures.

+ 3-5 years of experience using calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with height gauges, thread gauges, or similar quality instruments.

+ Experience with .03 micron tolerance.

+ Working experience in clean room environments.

Work Environment

The company specializes in building complex electro-mechanical assemblies for military robotics, microchips for medical applications, and custom machined components. Work is conducted in a clean room environment that is climate controlled, with a team size of 14-16. The first shift runs from 6AM to 2:30PM, Monday through Friday, with optional overtime. The second shift is from 2:30PM to 1:00AM, Monday through Thursday, also with optional overtime. The dress code includes closed toe shoes, jeans, and T-shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.85/hr.
