Welder

Pay Rate:

$20-$22/hr

Job Description:

Join our team as a skilled Fabricator. You’ll work on cutting, welding, and brazing metal pieces using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

+ Plan work order procedures and gather tools/materials based on job specs.

+ Repair and fabricate items using cutting, burning, and welding techniques.

+ Monitor welding and fitting processes to prevent overheating or distortion.

+ Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces.

+ Maintain and clean equipment and work area.

+ Report faulty equipment or defective materials.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

+ Knowledge of welding machines/tools, their design, use, and maintenance.

+ Basic understanding of design techniques and blueprint reading.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Basic math skills related to welding tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Trade School completion and Welding Certification.

+ Experience with MIG/TIG welding, stainless steel, carbon steel, and sheet metal.

+ Familiarity with grinding, assembly, and tape measure usage.

Technician

Pay Rate:

$18/hr

Job Description:

As a Technician, you’ll build stages from start to finish using power tools, hand tools, and blueprints. This role involves bending, twisting, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs (or 100 lbs team lift).

Responsibilities:

+ Install flooring, fiberglass, and hydraulic systems.

+ Perform wiring and electrical connections.

+ Integrate hydraulics and sub-components.

+ Read measuring instruments for precise assembly.

+ Ensure quality and safety standards are met.

+ Work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Skills:

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.

+ Comfortable working in varied positions (standing, crawling, etc.).

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Strong safety awareness.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Ability to read shop drawings (preferred).

+ Mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience.

+ Experience in construction, electrical work, or hydraulics.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
