Always Best Care Alexandria is seeking a Registered Nurse for our in-home care company. This vital position reports to the Administrator and is responsible for preparing thorough and accurate initial assessments/reassessments and developing personalized care plans for our clients. This part-time/PRN position is ideal for someone who desires meaningful work with flexible hours.  Benefits: * Part-time/PRN position * Flexible work hours (weekday, weekend, and evening hours available) Compensation: * $75 per assessment * $65 per reassessment Essential Job Responsibilities: * Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly re-evaluates the client’s needs. * Develops the plan of care and makes necessary revisions. * Informs the administrator, physician, and other relevant personnel of changes in the client’s condition and needs. * Assists the administrator with assessing the competency of caregiver staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of client care. * Supervises, educates, and coaches other personnel (i.e. Certified Home Health Aides) as directed by the administrator. * Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. Qualifications: * Possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing from a state-approved or accredited program; * Must be in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing; * Possess a valid Driver’s License and able to travel to clients’ homes; * Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience or home care experience, preferred; * Minimum of one (1) year supervising experience, preferred; About the Company: Always Best Care Alexandria is a leading provider of in-home care and assistance for seniors.
