Job Description
The maintenance technician will work within the powertrain team to achieve key results aligned with company goals. This role requires a strong knowledge of troubleshooting preventive maintenance and electrical systems. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, mechanical equipment, and the structure of the establishment. This position involves working closely with supervisors and managers throughout the production organization.
Responsibilities
+ Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
+ Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
+ Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels; replace filters.
+ Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
+ Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
+ Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
+ Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
+ Possess basic knowledge of tools and machines, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ 8 to 10 years of experience in maintenance technician roles.
+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
+ Experience with automation and preventive maintenance.
+ Knowledge of pneumatics, electro-mechanical troubleshooting of shafts, motors, chains, conveyor systems, and PLC systems.
+ Troubleshooting skills for robots and automated equipment.
+ Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, cylinders, and valves.
+ Ability to use multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
+ High school diploma or GED is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Understanding of electrical control systems.
+ Mechanical knowledge and detailed troubleshooting abilities for robots and other automation equipment.
+ Familiarity with shafts, motors, chains, and conveyor-related equipment.
+ Knowledge of PLC logic controls (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
+ Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
+ Ability to operate mobile equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.
+ Valid US driver's license and a clean driving record.

Work Environment
The shift is as follows: Wednesday from 11:00 pm to 5:30 am, Thursday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 5:30 am, and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 3:30 am. You will work 40-48 hours per week, primarily over four days, in a dynamic and physically demanding environment. The role involves frequent standing, stooping, walking, and lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

This is a Contract position based out of Casa Grande, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr.
