Job Title: Cleanroom Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cleanroom Technician to join our team. The role involves working in a cleanroom environment where precision and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. You will be working on a rotating shift schedule, ensuring the quality and integrity of IV bags through thorough inspection processes.
Responsibilities
+ Visually inspect IV bags, including weight inspection, checking for functional and cosmetic defects, and ensuring seal integrity.
+ Load units into pasteurization carts in an organized manner.
+ Support all local manufacturing operations by supplying components, small parts, and other necessary items to cell culture and purification areas.
+ Operate general production equipment such as parts washers, autoclaves, and stir plates.
+ Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
+ Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts.
+ Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.
+ Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as required.
+ Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ 1 year of production or warehouse experience.
+ Must pass vision and color vision tests; cannot be color blind.
+ Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
+ Understanding of cGMP regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable working in a GMP environment (no makeup, no jewelry, scrub attire).
+ Ability to train on first shift for 2 days in Libertyville, then transition to the Round Lake site.
+ Commitment to working weekends with a rotating schedule.
+ Willingness to undergo THC drug testing.
+ Capability to provide a copy of High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment
The role is based in a cleanroom environment where contractors are expected to wear cleanroom gowns, hair nets, beard guards (if applicable), gloves, and closed-toe shoes. The environment is extremely clean and quiet, with strict protocols against wearing jewelry, false fingernails, nail polish, or makeup.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Lake, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.68/hr.
