Summary:
The Associate Director of US & Worldwide Commercialization Analytics is a dynamic member of the broader BMS Immunology & Cardiovascular (ICV) team that partners very closely with Commercial, Finance and other matrix teams to drive effective insights and analytics. The US & WW Commercialization Analytics team is a unique organization within BMS that partners closely with the full matrix team to coordinate and integrate insights across various analytical functions such as forecasting, market research, and secondary data analytics to answer key questions on performance and strategy.
The US & WW ICV organization is an important pillar of BMS' strategy with a combination of established and recently launched brands that are critical to the future of the company. This candidate will be responsible for working with their support resources to complete the standard BMS Forecasting deliverables, as well as delivering high-quality solutions and answers to ad hoc requests/questions.
The Associate Director will work with the Commercialization Analytics Lead to support senior leadership by providing forecasting & analytical guidance to help Brand teams (and extended stakeholders) make informed strategic decisions and choices.
Responsibilities:
+ Independently engages as a business partner to the ICV Commercial team for ongoing commercialization
+ Earns status as a trusted advisor, embedding customer & market insights and analytics into business decision making
+ Partners with key stakeholders within the Commercial ICV Team to support strategic and tactical commercial decisions through: Forecasting Scenarios, Key Assumption Drivers, Performance Tracking, and Secondary Data Analytics
+ Executes business analysis to improve value to our patients through deepened market understanding, subject matter expertise, and practical application
+ Delivers integrated US & WW short-term forecasts and long-term plans across various countries, with fully integrated market research and secondary data analytics assumptions to establish financial expectations
+ Supports culture of fact-based decision making through application of best-in-class, innovative, and appropriate methodologies to address key business questions.
+ Effectively collaborates with a broad set of cross functional counterparts (including Brand Leadership, Sales Operations, Medical, and Finance) to achieve organizational objectives
+ Proactively manages flow of planned and ad hoc analytics requests, ensuring consistent quality and timeliness in delivery to business stakeholders
+ Develops seamless, collaborative, cross-functional approaches to problem solving and holistic cross-customer analysis
+ Develops and maintains a deep understanding of US & WW ICV brand priorities
+ Understands, demonstrates, and drives adherence to all BMS operating policies
Qualifications:
+ BA/BS in relevant functional discipline required; Advanced degree preferred
+ Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within pharmaceutical industry and/or consulting preferred
+ Experience in forecasting, forecast model development preferred
+ Experience independently leading commercialization analytics projects as described in position summary, including exposure to advanced techniques (e.g., behavioral science and advanced quantitative models)
+ Ability to draw inferences from disparate pieces of data, identify key findings and link to implications and provide recommendations
+ Highly collaborative team player with ability to effectively influence in an organization with a complex matrix of stakeholders
+ Exceptional communication and influencing skills delivered with polish and credibility
+ Strong unstructured problem-solving skills to answer key business questions
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, meet tight deadlines, and operate with agility and speed

Compensation Overview:
Princeton - NJ - US: $167,540 - $203,013
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
