    Job Details

    Our Clinical Nursing Supervisor will:

    + Manage daily clinical nursing operations to ensure the hospital standards and needs are met.

    + Be responsible for preparation and evaluation of nursing staff activities and schedules to ensure 24 hour coverage.

    + Serve as the managerial and clinical link between the Nurse Manager and/or Department Director in their absence and the administrator on call

    + Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

    + Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

    What you’ll bring:

    + Passion for Nursing Leadership

    + 3+ Years acute care clinical RN experience

    + Prior house-wide Nursing Supervision experience; critical care/emergency nursing experience preferred

    + 2-5+ Years leadership/healthcare management experience preferred

    + Knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agency requirements, and establishment of staffing patterns and schedules.

    + Candidate must be able to handle stressful situations, and exercise considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in solving administrative/operational problems.

    + Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required

    + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required

    + Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration

    + Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $68.96 - USD $68.96 /Hr.
