As the **Operations Manager** , you will oversee billing, contracts, and administrative functions for DESS. You’ll manage productivity and contract utilization reporting, accounts receivable, and cash applications, while leading operational and financial projects. You will also serve as the key project management specialist and provide critical support in budgeting and revenue analysis.
In this role, you will:
+ Oversee monthly financial performance, analyze metrics, assist with month-end close, and lead specialized invoicing for grants, royalties, and cost-reimbursements.
+ Manage all revenue-generating and independent contractor agreements, ensure compliance, and assist with annual budget preparation and monthly operating reports.
+ Oversee invoicing, accounting entries, and credit card processing. Manage AR processes and resolve discrepancies with Corporate Finance.
+ Lead major operational projects, including business development, financial systems, and IT initiatives.
+ Manage administrative support for department directors and cross-functional initiatives.
About DESS:
DESS partners with child-serving institutions to provide services in early learning, behavioral and mental health treatment, academic interventions, and prevention programming. We also offer direct staff placement, diagnostic evaluations, and consultation services to school districts.

Qualifications
**Education:** Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Administration, or Finance preferred.
**Experience:** 5–7 years in a financial environment required; experience in mental health and/or education preferred. Supervisory experience and project management skills strongly desired.
**Skills:** Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
