A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic control panel assembly team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where
you will be at the forefront of advanced manufacturing. You will engage with
assembly technicians, warehouse teams, engineers, project managers, and supply
chain stakeholders to ensure seamless production while upholding Siemens Energy
Standards. Your day will be filled with exciting problem-solving,
collaboration, and innovation as you transform engineering design packages into
reality. You will champion workmanship guidelines and tackle engineering design
questions and product deviations. Working closely with the plant supervisor,
you will ensure timely production delivery by preparing complete routers as
needed. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities, keeping your role
fresh and engaging.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Define and developmanufacturing processes for control panel assemblies.
+ Create and maintainessential documentation, including manufacturing processes, workspacelayouts, and work instructions.
+ Administer and maintainproduction toolsets and machinery while providing technical mentorship andtraining to operators and technicians on the use of fixtures, tooling, andequipment.
+ Investigate and resolvenon-conformances through root cause analysis and implement correctiveactions.
+ Drive continuous improvementinitiatives by analyzing manufacturing data, identifying opportunities,and leading implementation efforts.
+ Perform inspectionactivities and generate non-conformance and process inspection reports.
+ Collaboratecross-functionally with Design, Assembly, Quality, Procurement, andexternal suppliers to ensure production success.
+ Champion a safe workingenvironment and ensure compliance with current Health & Safetylegislation.
+ Apply LEAN manufacturingprinciples to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and drive continuousimprovement.
What You Bring
+ A bachelor’s degree inindustrial, manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or anassociate’s degree with direct experience is required; 4 or more years ofexperience in a manufacturing environment involving DCS control panelassembly is essential. Alternatively, 10 or more years of manufacturingexperience may substitute for a degree.
+ Manufacturing experiencewith the ability to interpret complex engineering control panel designpackages and specifications.
+ Experience working closelywith shop floor personnel to address issues (tooling, machines, etc.) asthey arise.
+ Proven leadership skills ina multi-disciplinary team environment through assertiveness, dialogue, andcoordinating timely actions within the department and with externalinfluencers.

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through
service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas
turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization
opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of
the fleet.
