We are looking to hire a **Senior Software Engineer** with a background in Data Science to join our team and help deliver seamless, high-quality, and reliable services, and infrastructure that powers mission-critical business applications including AI workloads. As part of the Agent 365 Team, you will design and build globally distributed services that support enterprise-scale AI and business workflows, fine-tune models, and help curate datasets and build an evals and experimentation platform.

Responsibilities

+ Lead design and development of Scalable AI Infrastructure including Experimentation and Evaluation Platforms

+ Provides technical leadership during code reviews for a solution/product area to ensure it meets the team's and Microsoft’s quality standards

+ Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

+ Collaborate across teams to align goals and deliverables.

+ Contribute to the long-term vision and roadmap for the product and features.

Qualifications

Required Qualification(s):

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

+ OR equivalent experience.

**Other Requirements ** **:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

+ **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** **  ** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of technical leadership experience of designing and delivering large projects

+ 4+ years of experience working in agile, fast-paced environments, navigating ambiguity and facilitating impactful outcomes.

+ Proven experience in data science, including statistical analysis and model development

+ Hands-on experience with AI platforms and tools for building and deploying intelligent solutions

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
