• Medical Laboratory Scientist (multiple positions)

    ### Job Duties

    Obtain, process, and analyze blood and body fluids; verify positive patient and specimen identification; verify/maintain specimen integrity; utilize AIDET model of customer service to interact with patients; perform clerical tasks like answering phones, taking messages and faxing/photocopying, obtaining valid orders; assist Phlebotomists, Medical Laboratory Assistants, Patient Access Specialists, MLTs, and other healthcare team members; identify abnormal results, reference, linear and critical ranges; call critical result within 30 minutes per protocol; maintain/retain complete and accurate records per protocol; operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide variety of laboratory instrumentation and analyzers; comply with all COLA, CLIA, JC, AABB, HIPAA, CMS, and OSHA regulations and all CRMC policies/procedures; maintain/retain complete and accurate records per protocol; operate, maintain, and troubleshoot wide variety of laboratory instruments and analyzers; complete rotations in Microbiology and core Lab sections; lead specific Lab sections and or Process Improvement teams; perform daily, weekly and periodic QC calibration, and method verification; comply with COLA, CLIA, JC, AABB, HIPAA, CMS, and OSHA regulations and all CRMC policies and procedures; maintain safe, neat, and well-stocked work area; demonstrate standards of Excellence.

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    Must possess A SC Pi (ASCPi) certification or be able to obtain ASCP or AMT certification within one year of hire
