Position Description: The Concessions Cook is responsible for preparing and serving hot and/or cold food items, in accordance with Company Standards and applicable Operational Standards.Essential Functions:Assists in maintaining, organizing and cleaning all equipmentAttention to detail and consistency in every aspect of serviceMust adhere to the Company dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoesProperly prepare, measure, and portion all food items in a timely mannerComplies with all quality standards, department rules, policies and proceduresUtilizes and sets up kitchen equipment to prepare food itemsPackages all products to proper specificationsPerforms opening, closing and side work duties as instructedKeeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stockedUses waste control guidelines and records all waste on spoilage sheetUnderstand and maintain proper sanitation and food safetyAbides by all Company policies in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures, the Business Code of ConductOther duties as assignedExperience/Training/Education Requirements:Must be a minimum 21 years of ageHighschool Diploma or GED6 months to 1-year previous food service experience desiredMust be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issuesWorking knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutionsMust be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysLicense/Certificate:Food Handlers Card

A valid food handler’s card is required for this position. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. Physical and Environmental Requirements:

This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting 25lbs. throughout the day as well as working at the computer; irregular hours will be required. May be required to work with hazardous chemicals/substances. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events.

This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.

This position requires stooping and lifting. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Must be able to pass background.
