    Summary

    Serves as the primary point of contact for the most complex Investment Only client relationships for Vanguard's largest clients. Provides consultation on service enhancements - with a focus on facilitating Investor Choice client commitments. Maintains long-term relationships with clients that are critical to Vanguard's success through mutual trust and loyalty. Serves as the senior accountability SME for IO clients for each of the Client Success Group regions - helping to support regional sales and service crew with investment retention, and helping to increase IO Client Service acumen for peers.

    What It Takes

    + Manages Vanguard's most complex IO client relationships through a deep understanding of client history and needs. Identifies opportunities to enhance client experiences and opportunities. Deepens the client relationship and loyalty to Vanguard through strategic and best-in-class consultative guidance - with a focus on facilitating Investor Choice client commitments.

    + Liaises with the Investor Choice Project team to provide plan sponsor support in garnering and then operationalizing investor choice commitments.

    + Proactively assesses IO client needs through strategic planning and consultations. Recommends service and operational enhancements, and partners internally to maintain recordkeeping. Presents recommendations to key client decision makers.

    + Resolves complex IO client issues related to products, services, or processes. Drives the development and implementation of creative solutions that meet or exceed client needs and expectations.

    + Engages key subject matter experts and leverages internal network to develop creative service solutions for clients, requiring cross-functional collaboration and cross-team ownership.

    + Maintains expert-level knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services compared to our competitors. Leverages deep investment acumen to provide long-term guidance to clients and strategically position Vanguard as the brand of choice for continued client loyalty.

    + Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of ten years related work experience. Five years experience in Financial Services and Relationship Management strongly preferred.

    + Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

    + This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.
