Responsibilities

+ Leads multiple project teams of other designers and internal and outsourced partners responsible for all stages of industrial design and development for a portfolio of complex products and platforms, including design architecture, language, validation, and specifications.

+ Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced partners on industrial design and development.

+ Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with industrial design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and user experience.

+ Manages implementation schedule including coordinating timelines with internal project managers and external partners.

+ Provides domain-specific expertise and overall industrial design leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.

+ Showcases the ability to execute the vision, create detailed roadmaps, and drive technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.

+ Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects and activities in the industrial design organization.

+ Develops continual improvement roadmaps and oversees the deployment of these strategies across multiple functions.

+ Guides the project team to meet schedules and milestones with high performance.

+ Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.

Education & Experience** **Recommended

+ Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design , or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

+ 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in industrial design and development of physical hardware products and systems, or a related field.

The pay range for this role is **$115,850** to **$178,400** USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
