Responsibilities
The individual will assist plants in machine trouble shooting, repairs, and upgrades. Manage projects consisting of relocation of equipment and installing new equipment. The individual will also have to communicate results with plant and leadership
Key Job Accountabilities
+ Always work with Safety # 1 Goal
+ Inspect, trouble shoot, repair, upgrade, install, molding machines
+ Assist plants with their uptime.
+ Mange projects from concept, quoting, implementation, to final review.
+ Help in relocation of equipment.
+ Perform scheduled and Preventative Maintenance, MVP’s, rebuilds, upgrades, with minimal supervision.
+ Assist employees in all departments and facilities in solving maintenance problems.
+ Continued training to progress in maintenance field.
+ Take control of machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of machine.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned
+ Be a Project Leader
Qualifications
+ Work independently and as part of a team.
+ Able to work independently is essential.
+ Have mechanical aptitude.
+ Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Able to read blue prints and schematics.
+ Good reading comprehension and math skills.
+ Must be willing to travel
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead.
+ Must be able to work around grease, oils, inks, and solvents without adverse reaction.
+ Ability to climb up and down ladders.
+ Must be able to stand, walk bend or stoop through an entire day.
+ Must have 20/20 vision with correction to be able to detect minor defects.
+ Must be able to differentiate color.
+ Must be a Leader
+ Must have good communicational skills
+ Knowledge of Injection molding and bottle making machines is desired.
+ Hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, & electronics troubleshooting skills essential
