About the role

As a **Technical Support Lead** , you will make an impact by ensuring seamless operations and timely resolution of technical issues across applications and infrastructure. You will be a valued member of our **Technology & Engineering** team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and Infrastructure.

In this role, you will:

+ Lead and coordinate daily support operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and escalations.

+ Act as the primary point of contact for high-priority issues, driving root-cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.

+ Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to proactively prevent service disruptions.

+ Oversee ticket queues, assign workloads, and ensure compliance with SLAs and operational standards.

+ Mentor and guide support team members, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.

What you need to have to be considered

+ 5+ years of experience in technical/application support, with at least 1–2 years in a lead role.

+ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across application, database, and infrastructure layers.

+ Hands-on experience with **C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and SQL Server** .

+ Expertise in incident management, problem management, and ITIL best practices.

+ Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Zendesk) and monitoring systems.

These will help you stand out

+ Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for operational efficiency.

+ Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies.

+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

+ Ability to create and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks.

Work model

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between **$55,350 – $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate** .

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

+ Employ Entity Framework for data access and manipulation ensuring seamless database interactions.

+ Utilize .Net Programming with VB .Net and C# .Net to create scalable and maintainable applications.

+ Implement ADO.NET for data-driven applications ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

+ Develop front-end solutions using React Js to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.

+ Use SQL for database management and query optimization to support application functionality.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand hotel industry-specific requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and IT service management.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

+ Contribute to the companys mission by delivering innovative solutions that enhance the hospitality experience for clients and customers.

Qualifications

+ Possess strong experience in Microsoft GitHub Copilot and ASP.Net Core Blazor.

+ Demonstrate expertise in IT Service Management and its application in software development.

+ Have a solid understanding of ASP.NET MVC ASP.NETCore and Entity Framework.

+ Show proficiency in .Net Programming with VB .Net and C# .Net.

+ Experience with ADO.NET and ASP.NETCore Web API is essential.

+ Familiarity with React Js and SQL is required.

+ Knowledge of the hotel industry domain is mandatory.

+ Experience with .Net Core and Node JS is a plus.
