We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 6 to 9 years of experience in VMware and Windows administration. This role involves managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations

Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize VMware environments to ensure high availability and performance of virtual machines.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments across on-premises data centres and public cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
Perform regular system patching, updates, and vulnerability management to ensure a secure and compliant infrastructure.
Monitor server health, performance, and capacity, proactively addressing potential issues and bottlenecks.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Windows Server services.
Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Manage server backups, disaster recovery processes, and ensure data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support integrated IT operations and projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve server-related incidents and service requests within agreed-upon SLAs.
Document system configurations, processes, and changes according to organizational standards.
Stay current with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to Windows Server administration.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 – $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
