CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Cloud Fullstack position for our client in Reston, VA.

**Duration:** 12 months

Duties:

+ Perform high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of system-level software applications based on user requirements and design documents.

+ Develop full-stack solutions leveraging Angular, Java, Spring, and AWS Cloud services (including RDS).

+ Troubleshoot and resolve defects throughout various testing cycles.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cloud-native applications.

+ Apply strong SDLC practices to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance.

+ Utilize GenAI tools and patterns where applicable (nice to have).

+ Work within mortgage-related systems (mortgage domain experience is a plus).

Skills:

+ Strong full-stack expertise in Angular, Java, Spring Framework, AWS Cloud, and RDS.

+ Proficiency with SDLC methodologies and best practices.

+ Solid understanding of modern programming languages, application servers, and database technologies.

+ Knowledge of one or more of the following: J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series.

+ Ability to design and develop cloud-native and enterprise-grade applications.

+ Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-optimization capabilities.

Experience:

+ 10+ years of software development experience across relevant platforms.

+ Experience delivering applications of similar scope and complexity.

+ Strong IT background with hands-on application development in enterprise environments.

+ Mortgage industry experience preferred.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

+ Professional certifications preferred (e.g., AWS, Java, Full-Stack Development).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
