Delaware North’s Patina Group is hiring experienced full-time Cooks to join our team at Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food, adhering to quality standards, operating kitchen equipment, and upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations. What will you do?

+ Execute food preparation and cooking with a focus on quality and efficiency

+ Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure proper functionality

+ Uphold high standards of cleanliness organization and food safety while maintaining correct food temperatures and storage

+ Perform opening closing and side work duties according to established guidelines

+ Keep workstation cooler and equipment clean organized sanitized and sufficiently stocked while following all health codes and sanitation regulations

More about you

+ Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a line cook or in a equivalent culinary role preferred

+ Demonstrate proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods

+ Willingness to learn and work in different kitchen stations, including grill, fry, and sauté

+ Proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines

+ Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide junior team members

Physical requirements

+ Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids

+ Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 pounds

+ Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
