    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking dedicated SpecialEducation Teachers to join our team for the remainder of the school year inCranston, Rhode Island. This is a rewarding opportunity to supportstudents in grades 6–12 within inclusive and self-contained classroom settings.

    Position Details:

    + Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour

    + Schedule: School hours

    + Openings: 4 positions available

    Responsibilities:

    Under the guidance of the Special Education ProgramAdministrator, the Special Education Teacher will:

    + Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs (K–12).

    + Collaborate with general education staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).

    + Provide specialized instruction, academic support, and consultation services.

    + Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

    Available Roles:

    Grades 9–12 (ELA/Math)

     

    + Inclusion/General Education Classroom

    + In-class support model

    + Certification Required: Special Education Grades 9–12

     

    Grades 6–8 (ELA/Math)

     

    + Self-contained classroom

    + Certification Required: Special Education Middle School (Grades 6–8)

    + Additional Requirement: Severe Intellectual Disabilities Certification
