    Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric | Adolescent Boys Group Home

     

    Contract Length: 13 Weeks

     

    Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

     

    Hours: 36 hours/week

     

    Start Date: 12/8/25

     

    Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend requirement*

    Pay:

    Travelers (50+ miles from facility): $2,002/week (based on 36 hours)

     

    Local Candidates (within 50 miles): $47/hour

     

    Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric RN to provide compassionate care in an adolescent boys group home setting. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals in a structured residential environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Deliver trauma-informed psychiatric nursing care to adolescent males

     

    Administer medications and monitor behavioral health status

     

    Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other care team members

     

    Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with care protocols

     

    Support crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies

    Requirements:

    Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)

     

    Minimum 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred

     

    Experience working with adolescents strongly preferred

     

    Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

     

    Strong communication and critical thinking skills
