Make a Difference as a Special Education Teacher!

Are you passionate about helping every student reach their full potential? We’re seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers (LBS1) to join our team and provide exceptional support to students in a self-contained classroom setting.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

+ Deliver high-quality instruction and individualized support for students in grades K–2 or 6–8.

+ Collaborate with general education staff and administrators to create inclusive learning environments.

+ Develop and implement student programs, including specialized instruction, tutorials, and consultation.

+ Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes growth, confidence, and success.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Certification:

+ Valid state teaching certificate (required)

+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (required)

+ Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching certifications (preferred)

+ Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a teaching environment (preferred)

+ Additional Requirements:

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per state or contract regulations)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Minimum age: 18

Position Details:

+ Grade Levels: Elementary (K–2) OR Middle School (6–8)

+ Caseload:

+ Self-contained classroom

+ Amergisum 13 students

+ Paraprofessional support provided

+ Start Date: ASAP

+ End Date: End of school year

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
