    We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to work in our Children's Legal Services Division, a premier statewide law firm. This is an excellent opportunity to work among an elite group of dedicated legal child advocates to ensure justice for the children of Florida.

    Description: This is general office and clerical work providing support to a team of paralegals and attorneys assigned to our Children’s Legal Services program. The work is challenging but incredible rewarding.

     

    Salary: $16.71 per hour.

    Examples of Work:

    + Prepares Notices of Filings of legal documents and summonses;

    + Creates new case files;

    + Transports legal documents to and from the courthouse weekly;

    + Answering phones;

    + E-Filing legal documents for the court;

    + Sorts and distributes mail;

    + Operates copy machine;

    + Tracks data and court calendar activities;

    + Transmits work electronically to other locations;

    + Uses data entry skills to input data;

    + Uses adobe to redact confidential information from legal documents;

    + Prepares travel reimbursement requests;

    + Monitors and orders office supplies;

    + Addresses envelopes and labels and/or gathers and arranges material to be typed and checked for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format.

     

    Preferred Requirements: Experience working in a legal office preferred. Excellent communication and use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) are necessary to perform the duties of this job.
