*Middle School Math Teacher Opening – Manitowoc, WI | 2nd Semester 2026

Start Date: January 5, 2026

Contract Length: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year

Pay Rate: $35–$40/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Typical school hours, 40 hours/week

Openings: 1 position available

Are you passionate about teaching and making a difference in students’ lives? A welcoming middle school in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to join their team starting January 5, 2026. This is a full-time position for the remainder of the school year, with a strong emphasis on community, mentorship, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with district curriculum

+ Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment

+ Implement effective classroom management strategies

+ Collaborate with administrators, staff, and parents to support student success

+ Participate in staff and IEP meetings as needed

+ Collect and maintain student records and assessments

+ Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating professionalism and high expectations

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ Valid DPI teaching license/certification (*or willingness to obtain DPI certification through school support program)

+ Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred

+ Strong communication and classroom management skills

+ *Passion for working with students and contributing to a supportive school community

Additional Requirements:

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health certificate (as required)

+ Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

+ Completion of new hire training and Amergis' Competency program (if applicable)
