    The Arc Mid-Hudson has a management opportunity, supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, at the Renaissance Program, at the Pecora Center in Kingston.

     

    The Renaissance Program, located in Kingston, is an intensive, life skills training program that supports people with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a supportive learning environment. People supported in the Renaissance program love to spend time away from the day habilitation setting, taking daily trips to museums, libraries, shopping, walking trails, and swimming, as well as ample opportunities for volunteering within the community. Each activity provides an exciting possibility to learn a new skill.     Responsibilities for this position include supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the people we support. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a HS Diploma, although an Associates/Bachelors degree in Human Services or a related field is highly desired. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and supervisory experience. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred. An acceptable NYS driver's license is required.

     

    The Arc Mid-Hudson provides an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment, with additional development opportunities for management staff.

     

    HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/8:00 am to 4:00 pm

     

    STARTING SALARY: $ 22.73 to $ 26.48 per hour

    Minimum Requirements

    + High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred

    + Acceptable NYS Driver's license

    + Supervisory experience

    + Experience working with people with disabilities, specifically autism

    + Computer skills
