Job Summary:
Influencer in the organization that will be a key part of O+O team in charge of supply chain performance for a specific ecommerce channel in the Omnichannel Supply Chain Team. He/she will work directly with retailer/3PL supply chain team, brands commercial teams, distribution center, transportation, customer service, demand-planning teams among others inside and outside the organization.
Responsible for Service Levels, On Site Availability, Inventory Health & Cost to Serve. This individual will need to understand animation and business needs while working with internal teams and the customer to adjust planning strategy. Responsibilities are not just limited to coordinating availabilities, optimizing service level and inventory objectives but also handling all status and feasibility related sensitive communication with the retailer/3PL. Also responsible for managing Excess and Obsolete inventory targets, maintaining high accuracy for master data and executing supply chain improvement projects.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Business or related field
+ Minimum 5+ year(s) of experience in supply chain or related field, 2 years of e commerce supply chain preferred.
+ Ability to create structure from ambiguity
+ Experience in a cross-functional, matrixed organization a plus\
+ Analytical - Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data and information
+ SAP or equivalent experience
+ Proficient in Microsoft Suite with a focus on Excel
+ Power BI Experience
+ Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods supply chain is beneficial
+ Additionally, specific experience in US Retail supply chains and e-commerce is highly advantageous
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
+ Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
+ Dependable and reliable self-starter
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
+ The strategic objective of the role will be to optimize the flow of qualitative and quantitative information between L’Oreal USA and the retailer/3PL, thereby improving replenishment and distribution processes and making recommendations with regard to its supply chain processes for L’Oréal products (lead times, On Time, In Full, end-to-end Supply Chain collaboration)
+ Tactically, this position will coordinate replenishment and distribution model for the ecommerce channel. Manage order lifecycle from receipt thru shipment; inclusive of SAP transactions, data analysis, decision making, alternative option recommendations, root cause analysis/investigation, follow up and follow thru of open items
+ Collaborate closely with Demand Planning leaders to ensure that the customer-sourced demand data is integrated into the replenishment plan
+ Maintain strong relationships with business partners in order to optimize product supply effectiveness and efficiency. Connect best practices with the broader replenishment team
+ Actively communicate as the liaison between internal and external contacts including retailers, sales admin, field sales, key account directors, finance, inventory management, transportation, retail collaboration, deductions, receiving, returns and distribution to ensure order process efficiencies
+ Influences decision making in performance improvement and resolves obstacles
+ Escalates to direct manager timely for the resolution of issues and/or determine next steps
+ Is able to present project status and other relevant content comfortably to Senior Management as needed
+ Participate in cross functional project teams to develop/sustain Best in Class Brand Supply Chain methodologies
+ Analyze and challenge demand to safeguard no bullwhip effect in the Supply Chain
+ Provide visibility on low service skus and recovery timing with affiliates
+ Ensure healthy inventory level by ensure destructions are processed and challenge productions that will lead to Excess inventory
