    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Data Warehouse Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our next-generation marketing data platform. This critical role involves establishing a new data warehouse in Snowflake, streamlining our ETL/ELT processes using SnapLogic, and managing the successful migration and deprecation of legacy infrastructure, including Amazon Redshift. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud data warehousing, data governance, and working directly with marketing and analytics teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.

    Responsibilities

    + Snowflake Data Warehouse Buildout: Design, implement, and optimize the overall architecture of the new marketing data warehouse within Snowflake, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance.

    + ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Develop, monitor, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using SnapLogic to ingest, transform, and load high-volume marketing data from diverse sources (e.g., ad platforms, CRM, web analytics) into Snowflake.

    + Migration and Maintenance: Manage the end-to-end process of migrating critical marketing datasets and reporting workloads from our legacy CDC warehouse to Snowflake.

    + Data Modeling and Governance: Apply advanced data modeling techniques (Dimensional and/or Data Vault) to structure data for optimal consumption by business intelligence tools and data scientists. Enforce data quality and governance standards.

    + Performance Optimization: Conduct query tuning, manage Snowflake compute resources (warehouses), and implement features like Snowpipe, Tasks, and Streams to ensure near real-time data availability and cost control.

    + Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing Operations, Analytics, and Finance teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable, accurate datasets for reporting and predictive modeling.

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years working specifically with Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake preferred).

    + 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying ETL/ELT solutions with SnapLogic or a comparable enterprise-grade tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend).

    + 1+ year of direct involvement in data migration projects (e.g., Redshift to Snowflake).

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

     

    Bay Area California: 204,000 - 275,500

    Southern California: 185,500 - 251,500
