    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Oracle DBA Consultant to support one of our clients on a short-term project on a high-impact initiative involving Oracle database administration, performance optimization, and complex data center and cloud migrations (Azure and AWS). The ideal candidate will be a seasoned expert capable of delivering results within the first week of engagement, ensuring stability, security, and high performance across Oracle environments.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -10+ years of Oracle DBA experience (12c through latest version)

     

    -Proven success in multi-data center and cloud migrations

    -Expertise in:

    Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, Exadata

     

    -Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

     

    -Performance tuning and query optimization

    -Hands-on experience with:

    Azure (Oracle on Azure VM, hybrid setups)

     

    AWS (RDS, cloud migrations)

     

    -Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities

     

    -Ability to work independently and deliver results within one week Experience with proactive monitoring and alerting tools

     

    Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit configurations

     

    Strong documentation and reporting skills

     

    Prior experience with AWS migration to Azure Cloud
