    SIS Account & Project Manager, Commercial Flooring (Retail)

    SIS Account Managers (client-facing Project Managers) serve as the single point of contact for commercial annuity and strategic account clients, managing all aspects of flooring projects and account service from initial conversation through delivery and installation. This includes end-to-end project management, customer relationship management, and coordination across internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of bespoke account programs. Reporting to SIS Business Managers, this role will coordinate and onboard new accounts and implement service programs in market segments such as government, retail, corporate, education, healthcare, specified living, and hospitality. The role responds to needs, manages all operational aspects of assigned accounts, and works work with Sales Team to obtain forecasts and evaluate the performance of accounts. The position will work in a hybrid way 3 days per week from our Dalton offices.

    Responsibilities:

    + Serve as single point of contact and manage all operational aspects of an account service program from onboarding to annuity relationship.

    + Manage service programs executed through Winbid, E-commerce, and/or wholesale systems and processes.

    + Understand all contract or program requirements including pricing, reporting, and/or rebate processes for accounts managed and maintain account database detail.

    + Respond to proposal request, define scope of work, identify material and labor needs, negotiate labor costs, respond to estimating needs, prepare formal proposal, coordinate with Customer Service and Transportation to enter and track orders, manage order entry and production schedule, shipping, installation schedules, process payables, invoicing, troubleshooting.

    + Manage and maintain blanket inventory at required levels.

    + Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers and partners including end users, suppliers, service providers, sales, contracting officers, and purchasing agents.

    + Coordinate with SIS Business Managers and Solutionists, Marketing Support Services, and Sales in responding to RFIs and RFPs, contract negotiation, and contract/pricing renewals or updates.

    + Manage compliance from customers with contract terms, conditions and price agreements.

    + Travel may be required to build service and maintain relationships.

    + Train and mentor Account Coordinator.

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent and minimum of 3 years administrative experience required.

    + High EQ and communication skills for client interaction, verbal and written.

    Highly preferred skills and experiences:

    + Associate or bachelor’s degree.

    + Experience in customer-facing roles with strong client relationship management.

    + Project ownership experience (preferably within construction, installation, or similar).

    + Familiarity with installation processes (flooring or other construction trades is a plus, blueprint reading, jobsite conditions).

    + Strong project management and organizational skills.

    + Ability to adapt and manage ambiguity, comfortable making high-level decisions and owning responsibility

    + Individuals must be willing to travel and be comfortable in a customer-facing environment.

    + Proficient with project management software (e.g Win-bid), Microsoft Word, Excel, Google, PowerPoint.
