    Weekend and on call as support is needed.

     

    Locations : 69th and Louise Campus Pavilion 1& 2, Addiction Center and Behavioral Health building.

    A Brief Overview

     

    Plans, organizes, develops, directs, and participates in the overall operation of the housekeeping department to ensure a safe and aseptic environment is maintained. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the resident/customer's status.

    What you will do

    + Assists with the collection and maintenance of records as needed by the Quality Assurance Department, OSHA guidelines or as may be required by the law.

    + Work closely with leadership to keep updated and accurate logs, records and certifications.

    + Participates in staff assignments as needed to maintain efficiency within the Facility Services Department.

    + Coordinates the scheduling process and maintains appropriate staffing levels to maximize department efficiency. Review department timecards and process payroll as well as approve or deny all department time-off requests in a timely manner.

    + Works closely with leadership to ensure appropriate levels of supplies are maintained.

    + Provides input for the development of the annual department budget (i.e. capital equipment needs).

    + Maintains clinical competence in order to serve as a resource to the staff. This may include but is not limited to: performing a broad variety of general housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed; maintaining daily log of activities; responding to emergency overhead paging requests and responding to other department requests as needed.

    + Ensures changes in work, such as, but not limited to, schedules, orientation, standard procedures, cross training; all staff adheres to equipment changes. Works closely with other Department Heads to improve processes within the facility.

    Essential Qualifications

    The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.     Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

    + High School or GED Equivalent

    + At least one year of general housekeeping experience and one year of supervision and / or an acceptable equivalent combination of experiences

    Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

    + Associate's
