Lead the Future of Digital Transformation – Project Management Consultant (Remote)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an accomplished **Project Management Consultant** to support our partner, a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this high-impact role, you’ll drive digital technology programs that strengthen operational excellence, enhance compliance, and advance enterprise-wide capabilities.

This is a **full-time, 12-month consulting role** , offering remote flexibility while supporting teams operating in CST.

About the Role

As part of the Digital Technology Program Management Team, you will independently develop and manage complex project plans, schedules, and budgets for transformative digital initiatives. Your work will directly influence the success of key application, infrastructure, security, and software development efforts across the organization.

Key Job Details

**Job Type:** Full-Time Consultant (12 Months with possible extension)

**Location:** Remote (optional onsite at any of our domestic locations)

Schedule:

+ Monday–Friday

+ Standard office hours

+ Supporting team in CST

**Pay Rate:** $85 per hour

**Travel Requirement:** Up to 25%

What You’ll Do

+ Lead communication of project vision, scope, and objectives with leadership and cross-functional teams.

+ Define deliverables and develop detailed project schedules aligned with business goals and customer requirements.

+ Build and motivate high-performing project teams, fostering collaboration across multiple departments.

+ Set clear expectations, instill accountability, and guide teams toward shared outcomes.

+ Resolve conflicts, encourage work sharing, and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track.

+ Apply core project management principles, including financial oversight, schedule and scope control, risk and opportunity management, and root cause analysis.

+ Escalate challenges with actionable plans and recommendations.

+ Present concise, decision-driving insights to senior leadership.

+ Manage multiple concurrent projects using strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.

+ Contribute to continuous improvement and lean process initiatives.

+ Lead execution for jurisdiction, classification, and hardware export management efforts in alignment with compliance requirements.

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree and **5+ years of project management experience** , or **15+ years of experience** in lieu of a degree.

+ Ability to travel up to 25%.

+ Proven experience managing application, infrastructure, security, or software development projects.

+ Proficiency in MS Project for building and managing project schedules. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience leading projects across waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies.

+ Project Management Professional ( **PMP** ) certification.

**Pay Details:** $85.00 per hour
