This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary:
As a part of our transformation, we know that data is at the center of everything that we do. We seek a dedicated professional to help take us to the next level of our Data & Analytics journey. We depend on our Data Analysts to investigate data seeking opportunities to reduce duplicates, improve the quality and discover anomalies that may exist, and then create the specifications and designs that will allow us to develop intuitive solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Provide deep functional expertise for applications & products supporting one or more process areas
+ Partner with Analytics Functional Architect(s) to participate in the preliminary investigation for project solution requests, requirements gathering, collecting data from a variety of sources, evaluating and interpreting data, and drawing conclusions on functional solution options
+ Provide input into system fit/gap analysis and design decisions
+ Write detailed functional designs for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and/or workflows, partnering with development teams as needed
+ Work with Solution Architects to identify system configuration needs and document functional requirements
+ Ensure solution compatibility with documented architecture, security, and data standards
+ Collaborate with other IT delivery teams to ensure efficient and effective design, development and implementation of end-to-end solutions
+ Follow standard processes to create and maintain solutions documentation for projects, enhancements, and support requests.
+ Provide functional input for role-based security designs and solutions
+ Share knowledge of risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the respective process area
+ Work with the Analytics Functional Architect and Technical Lead to support the development, maintenance, and communication of solutions roadmap for application(s) that service the business process
+ Provide regular and accurate status updates and other documentation to management and team members for assigned project, support, and improvement work
+ In coordination with the Product Owner and Analytics Functional Architect, provide functional expertise required to resolve escalated issues
+ Document user stories in Azure DevOps and track progress to achieve acceptance criteria
+ Collaborate with product team members in agile ways of working and upskill to learn SAFE methodology
+ Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
+ Mentor junior level colleagues as needed

+ Ability to evaluate and manage priorities while adapting to individual and team assignments as adjustments are needed
+ Maintains a positive work environment through collaboration & conflict resolution
Mandatory Skills:
+ Knowledge of product methodology and agile ways of working
+ Strong knowledge of requirements gathering practices
+ Ability to relay functional design and acceptance criteria to technical team members
+ Strong learning mindset and ability to lean in with Product Owners to understand their challenges and offer alternative options to address their needs
+ Big picture thinking and proactive alignment with Product Owner, Analytics Functional Architect, Technical Lead, and other product teams to address areas of overlap or opportunities to solve things more efficiently
+ Ability to work across other technology teams to address dependencies diplomatically and communicate status to all those impacted
Desired Skills:
+ Knowledge of how current data product trends and business process solutions can address identified business needs and capabilities
+ Prior experience on a development team using Databricks, PBI, and ADO
+ Ability to use SQL to analyze data
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree related to Information Systems, Business or other relevant academic discipline with a minimum 3 years job experience in IT or process area(s)
Required Experience:
+ 3+ years as a data or systems analyst with a specialization in data product delivery or MDM solutions
+ Skillful in all Microsoft tools, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
