The Associate Director, Business Excellence & Learning Development is responsible for leading the deployment of the CORE operating system and advancing the Global Security Services (GSS) organization’s continuous improvement and training strategies. This role integrates operational excellence, compliance oversight, and workforce development to drive efficiency, performance, and a culture of continuous learning across GSS.
The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to identify improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and design training programs that strengthen operational effectiveness and compliance alignment.
What You Will Do:
+ Lead the execution of CORE and continuous improvement initiatives across the GSS function.
+ Identify, prioritize, and implement process enhancements using data analytics and stakeholder feedback.
+ Develop and oversee training programs that align with business strategies, compliance needs, and CORE principles.
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and update security policies, procedures, and training content.
+ Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and training effectiveness.
+ Promote a culture of operational excellence, compliance, and professional development.
+ Partner with the RTX GSS Training Center of Excellence (COE) and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment of training initiatives.
+ Leverage the Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver accessible and measurable learning programs.
+ Provide regular reports, updates, and performance insights to senior leadership.
+ Stay current with industry trends, security standards, and learning and development innovations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Security, Operations, or a related field and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
+ Proven ability to manage cross-functional improvement initiatives and training programs.
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in KPI development and performance tracking.
+ Knowledge of adult learning theory, e-learning platforms, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, CORE, etc.).
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience in a large, matrixed organization.
+ CORE Practitioner or Lean Six Sigma certification.
+ Familiarity with physical security compliance and regulatory standards.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
